Graduate Tax Trainee

We wish to offer a suitable candidate a position with our practice as a Graduate Tax Trainee to commence their training contracts in Autumn 2024. 

This exciting opportunity involves the delivery of quality taxation advice and service to an extensive client base, together with the completion of all normal duties associated with a busy tax department. The role will provide the right candidate with the ability to enhance their career and to develop their experience in all areas of taxation by working closely with the Taxation Team and Taxation Partner.

 

The Role

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Work with our Taxation Seniors to provide compliance services to our personal and corporate clients under all tax heads.
  • Work closely with the Tax Team and the Partners on specific tax planning and advisory assignments.
  • Work as part of a team and liaise with other departments and staff.

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Interested in commencing a programme of study with the Irish Tax Institute with a view to successfully completing the Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) examinations.
  • Expect to graduate this year with a degree in business, taxation, accounting, law or         related discipline.
  • Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate an ability to adhere to and meet deadlines
  • A good academic track record
  • Highly motivated and professional.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer Literate, in particular, proficient in Excel.
  • Excellent problem solving skills 
  • Commitment to providing excellent client service and to making a valuable contribution to the practice
