John is the Taxation Partner of the Firm and is one of its founders.
John is an Associate of the Irish Taxation Institute. Starting in 1984 he spent the earlier part of his career working with two of the Big Four Firms. This was followed by a number of years as Head of Taxation with a top eight firm prior to establishing HDS Partnership.
John has extensive experience in all aspects of tax planning and consultancy. He has particular expertise in advising corporates, family owned businesses and high net worth individuals on a range of tax planning issues. He has taken the lead taxation advisory role on many projects including property transactions and tax based investment opportunities for both promoters and investors and succession planning for families.
John also advises a number of corporate groups on all aspects of their tax strategies.
